Coaching Certification

The Canadian Team Handball community has recently shifted coaching standards to the CBET program. Under the new system you will be able to select the level you would like to coach at and take the training that corresponds with that level.

To qualify to coach a team at the 2007 Canadian National Championships coaches are required to be certified Level 2 coaches under the CBET program.

Competition A and B courses are offered through Coaching Manitoba thoughout the year, in various areas of the province. These coures are great to have on your coaching resume.

Upcoming courses are as follows:
October 14 & 15 - Introduction to Competition A
October 21 & 22 - Introduction to Competition B
October 28 & 29 - Introduction to Competition A
November 4 & 5 - Introduction to Competition A
November 18 & 19 - Introduction to Competition B
December 16 & 17 - Introduction to Competition A

Location:
Sport Manitoba, 200 Main Street, Winnipeg

Times:
Competition A: Saturday 8:30 - 4:30pm and Sunday 8:30 - 2:30pm
Competition B: Saturday 8:30 - 4:30pm and Sunday 8:30 - 4:30pm

If you want to register for Competition A or B training, it's as easy as downloading the Fall 06/07 registration form and sending it in to Coaching Manitoba. NOTE: Payment for the class must be made two weeks prior to the course.
