VISION
The Manitoba Team Handball Federation is a dynamic organization oriented towards embracing change, respecting tradition, and providing a strong ethical foundation for the practice and promotion of team handball at all levels of play throughout Manitoba.

MISSION
The Manitoba Team Handball Federation exists for the purpose of promoting team handball, by establishing and developing participative and competitive programs for Manitobans throughout Manitoba.

VALUES
Team Handball is part of the Manitoba Sport system and contributes to the quality of life in Manitoba. Team Handball contributes a viable sport choice to Manitoba athletes who would like to participate in a dynamic Olympic sport.

Team Handball is for and available to all Manitobans regardless of age, gender, creed, socio-economic status, ability or geographical location. All Manitobans should have the opportunity to participate in Team Handball.

Team Handball values volunteers. Volunteers are at the core of Team Handball's human resource pool in Canada. Their contribution is significant, valuable and above all vital.

NATIONAL LEADERSHIP
Team Handball is not only part of the Manitoba Sport system, but is valued across Canada and is a major player internationally. The values and beliefs endorsed by Sport Manitoba generally and the MTHF specifically, can provide positive leadership to the national and international handball community.

The MTHF should proactively promote its fundamental values and beliefs to this larger community through its involvement with the Canadian Team Handball Federation (CTHF), the Pan American Team Handball Federation (PATHF), the International Team Handball Federation (IHF), and the Commonwealth Handball Federation.
